COR is stepping up its contract furniture business by exhibiting at WORKSPACE EXPO

The East Westphalian furniture manufacturer’s contract furniture business is growing as a result of the new work trend, which is here to stay. As in the previous year COR is exhibiting at WORKSPACE in Paris, Europe’s leading specialist exhibition. WORKPLACE EXPO is dedicated to future workspace planning and takes place between 4 and 6 April 2023. This year’s slogan is “I love my workspace”.

Workspace furniture designers are rethinking office space furnishing concepts to meet future requirements. Recent research findings have revealed that offices are evolving into collaborative spaces where people cultivate interpersonal relationships and embrace corporate values. The focus is shifting from cool and impersonal environments to homely, inspiring spaces that foster a sense of unity. Numerous COR furniture products are aligned to these new workspace developments and needs. The Floater Sofa, with its high back and sides, plus integrable table and storage boxes, is the perfect sanctuary for concentrated working in open plan offices. The ‘Level’ height-adjustable worktable and the ‘Drop’ mobile barstool collection almost instantly transform individual workspaces into meeting points. The low-set Jalis21 sofa and the Jalis Lounge armchair can be used to create unconventional quiet and waiting zones. All these exceptional pieces of seating furniture for distinctive interior design are perfect for spaces where people wait, work together, relax together, meet together, or visit as guests. They can be experienced live on the almost 50 m² stand at WORKSPACE EXPO.

Project partners and architects appreciate COR furniture for its timeless aesthetic appeal and functionality. Immaculate workmanship and excellent quality of material additionally ensure that the furniture is long-lasting and easy to repair, thereby supporting the sustainable use of resources. A high level of vertical integration and short distances at the production site in Rheda-Wiedenbrück make individual adjustments and custom solutions possible. Our customers include digital tech companies like Google, Netflix and Spotify, as well as various banks, hotels and group headquarters such as Otto, BP and DHL. The Lufthansa Business Lounges around the world have been furnished with COR armchairs for around 30 years. Other flagship projects include the G20 summit in Hamburg, the G7 summit in Elmau, the cruise liners MS Europa/MS Europa 2 and the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre.
