COR once again at Design District Rotterdam

The premium furniture brand will present its contract furniture impressively at the most important interior design fair in the Netherlands, which will take place from 24 to 26 May in the historic Van Nelle factory in Rotterdam.

For more than 15 years, the East Westphalian seating furniture manufacturer has specialised in product development and customised solutions for the contract sector. The market share in the contract business is growing and the focus is currently on major international projects. Reason enough for the company's appearance at the renowned Design District Rotterdam.

Cool, impersonal workspaces are increasingly giving way to a homely, inspiring environment. Workspaces are developing into places of collaboration where interpersonal relationships are cultivated and corporate values are lived out. An assortment of COR furniture does justice to these developments and new conditions: the Floater desk, for example, with its high, sound-insulating shell, provides an oasis for concentrated work in open-space concepts. The height-adjustable Level system table and the mobile Drop stool collection transform individual workstations into meeting points in no time at all. The Jalis lounge chair, on the other hand, creates an unconventional retreat. All extraordinary seating furniture for distinctive spaces that can be used wherever people work together, relax, confer, wait or are guests. They can be experienced live at the Design District in Rotterdam.

Project partners and architects appreciate COR furniture for its timeless aesthetics and functionality. At the same time, the best craftsmanship and highest quality materials ensure durability and reparability, which sustainably conserves our resources. The high production depth and short distances at the climate-neutral production site in Rheda-Wiedenbrück facilitate individual customisation and special solutions. Digital companies such as Google, Netflix and Spotify are among our references, as are various banks, hotels and corporate administrations such as Otto, BP and DHL. Lufthansa Business Lounges worldwide have been equipped with COR chairs for around 30 years. Other prestigious projects include the G20 summit in Hamburg, the G7 summit in Elmau and the cruise ships MS Europa/MS Europa 2 and Messe Frankfurt.

Since its foundation in 1954, the premium brand has been owner-managed and produces high-quality seating and upholstered furniture for international markets at its climate-neutral site in Rheda-Wiedenbrück. The most renowned piece is the Conseta sofa classic, which has been in the product portfolio since 1964. Creating value and quality in a contemporary design that remains independent of trends and fashions is the passion of all those who contribute to shaping the brand. Exceptional craftsmanship and the highest quality materials are the hallmarks of COR furniture.

COR (Latin for heart) has already received over 50 corporate and product awards for outstanding design and corporate achievements: including the German Design Award, the Iconic Award and the Design Prize of the Federal Republic of Germany.

With fully integrated production in East Westphalia, the heart of the German furniture industry, COR was one of the first German furniture companies to be certified according to the EU Eco-Audit procedure in 1996. Today, all upholstered furniture bears the 'Blue Angel' and the Greenguard Gold certificate. The company works according to the Lean Factory principle, employs around 225 people and trains talented young specialists itself.
