Sales leadership transition at COR Sitzmöbel

Long-standing General Sales Manager Stefan Kappel-Sudbrock hands over to Thomas Fründ.

Rheda-Wiedenbrück, 18 March 2026 Stefan Kappel-Sudbrock has dedicated 26 years to the East Westphalian seating furniture manufacturer COR, including the past 21 years as General Sales Manager and a member of the management team. For health reasons, he will be stepping down from his management role and moving to the back office on 1 April 2026.

Stefan Kappel-Sudbrock is highly regarded by both retail partners and colleagues, and he has played a pivotal role in shaping the sales growth of the premium brand. As the embodiment of the COR spirit, he is highly respected both professionally and personally. The family business is therefore delighted that he will remain part of the team.

East-Westphalian Thomas Fründ, who has been a part of the COR sales organisation for a year, is taking over the baton. He fully embraces the COR values and is also passionate about upholding them. Thomas will continue to support the development of the sales organisation, ensuring a high degree of continuity.

His former role in the sales organisation will be taken over by Christian Krause, whom COR is delighted to have won back.

“We are certain that these personnel changes will add new momentum to COR’s sales performance and boost the company’s strength,” said Leo Lübke, Managing Partner of COR, commenting on the reorganisation.
