Three design awards to start the living year 2020

At imm cologne, COR's current, award-winning designs are not only to be seen at the trade fair stand. Nenou, winner in the "Furniture – Best of Best" category, will be presented at Kölnischer Kunstverein as part of the special exhibition ICONIC AWARDS 2020: Innovative Interior.

During imm cologne, when the cathedral city becomes a hotspot for creative interior design from all over the world, the winners of this year's ICONIC AWARDS: Innovative Interior competition are to be found at Kölnischer Kunstverein. The curated exhibition of award-winning models, including the Nenou furniture concept in the "Furniture – Best of Best" category from COR, opens on 13 January. In collaboration with Swiss designer Jörg Boner, the modern archetype for new spatial topographies has been created. Various upholstery elements in leaf form (nenúfar, Spanish for water lily) serve as easy chairs, poufs, upholstered benches or tables. They can be arranged as homely islands or – spanning several rooms – in smaller colonies. The aesthetically unconventional furniture concept can be employed in any architectural environment. It already caused quite a stir in Milan in the spring of 2019. As a double premiere for Cologne, Nenou will be shown up to 19 January at Kunstverein and at the trade fair in Hall 11.3, Stand ST10/TU19.

German Design Awards für Avalanche und Alvo

The premium manufacturer COR received two awards in the category "Excellent Product Design – Furniture" at the German Design Award 2020. A distinguished jury for the internationally renowned award chose not only the elegant Love Chair from the Avalanche sofa range; the filigree Alvo upholstered chair also emerged as the winner from a total of four nominated models by the seating furniture experts. COR owner Leo Lübke and designers Robin Rizzini (Metrica) as well as Markus Jehs and Jürgen Laub (Jehs+Laub) will receive the awards on 7 February in Frankfurt. Both furniture designs will be on show at imm cologne as part of the current overall collection for the new living year 2020 in Hall 11.3, Stand ST10/TU19.
