Supported and vindicated: COR seating furniture is committed to clarity in the market

In the legal clarification of the post-contractual conduct of online retailer Reuter, COR has been supported and vindicated by the recent rulings of the Regional Court of Cologne and the Federal Cartel Office in Bonn. Since the submission of a request by COR, the Regional Court of Cologne last week imposed a temporary injunction without a hearing, prohibiting both Bernd Reuter and Reuter Online Shop GmbH from commenting and/or facilitating comment on the so-called "COR seating furniture Helmut Lübke lawsuit". Notably, any promotional representation of this lawsuit on the Internet has been forbidden.

Lawyer Markus Nessler adds, "Reuter used its viral reach in an attempt to damage the reputation of a premium manufacturer. This has nothing to do with fair competition, but instead seeks to damage the manufacturer and to intimidate other market participants. If confidence in digital commerce is to remain intact, then such practices must be stopped. My client has been consistent in his approach."
