New central warehouse completed - the largest (construction) project in COR's history to date

Just in time for COR's 70th birthday last year, we put our new materials warehouse into operation. A birthday present to ourselves, if you like, as this project was the largest construction project in the company's history.

After more than a year of construction we now have around 3,000 m² of storage space available for our production in Rheda-Wiedenbrück. Our new material warehouse was constructed in accordance with the KfW (German reconstruction loan corporation) ‘40’ energy-efficiency standard for new-builds. It is heated via underfloor heating with 12 heat pumps, which are partially powered by the new PV system on the warehouse roof. It is illuminated with high-efficiency, LED lights connected to motion sensors. The warehouse offers the key advantages of efficient and requirement-based deliveries of individual components to the production bays and the elimination of all intermediate storage areas.
