COR interlübke Studio Nuremberg at new location

On 9 November, Steffi and Thomas Raum opened the newly designed brand studio in Lorenzer Strasse. The most beautiful COR seating furniture and interlübke living and bedroom furniture are presented on 400 square metres of exhibition space. The Nurembergers have been delighting customers since 2011 under the motto "Two brands - one world to live in". In addition to the brand studio, the furnishing experts operate their Tendenza head office in Fürth.

The location could not be better: The new COR interlübke Studio in Lorenzer Strasse 2 is located in the real estate centre of the Sparkasse (savings bank), there is a lot of pedestrian traffic, and St. Lorenz Church with its historical architecture is practically next door: "Our new location is a hotspot," Steffi Raum says happily, "we are directly en route for locals and tourists visiting the city." In just under a month, the light-flooded store was redesigned and fitted out with furniture from the two premium brands. "We take advantage of the merits of the existing architecture with its inviting shop window fronts, creating an exhibition with many individual pictures that awakens the desire for new furnishings." The corresponding creative lighting design with its own Occhio Gallery and cupboard furniture from Cabinet complete the programme. "It goes without saying that, with these partners, we offer excellent furniture and collections," explains Steffi Raum. The personal thumbprint of the studio lies above all in its consulting and planning expertise. "The exhibition inspires customer, and they then want us to advise them on how they can fit out their homes individually with the furniture." Many interested parties are not just looking for a single piece of furniture. Moving house, new partnerships or separations are increasingly bringing more male customers into the studio who need a complete "outfit" to live in for their new lifestyle model.

The exhibition concept: fresh and emotional

The wall design with Farrow & Ball colours – an alternating backdrop for new products and design classics from the two premium brands – is pleasing to the eye in itself. The COR newcomers of 2017, Flint and Roc, appear as a solo easy chairs as well as an addition to larger seating arrangements. The comfortable, luxuriously soft Moss sofa has actually come "dew-fresh" straight from the September premiere in East Westphalia. (Naturally, genuine lounge fans will also love the sofa programmes Trio or Mell Lounge.) Entire model families such as Mell and Jalis are represented not only with sofas, but also with easy chairs, chairs or bar stools. Elegant side tables are grouped around cosy cushions, while larger tables for dining areas or conferences complete the range. And of course Conseta, COR's classic sofa from 1964, has also been given a new permanent place. How to discover your personal favourite? Ideally with a simple "sit-in".

Living and sleeping comfort go hand in hand

Sideboards, shelves, cupboards and beds from interlübke can be individually combined and planned in a variety of ways. The new jorel sideboard was named 'Best of Best' in the Interior Innovation category on its first appearance at the Iconic Awards 2017. Finished in shimmering gold-anodised aluminium, it is one of the highlights of the exhibition. It shares the flawless surfaces and functional interior with all interlübke models, which include cupboards such as collect and base, although bar compartments are reserved for the jorel and studimo programmes. Customised concept solutions can also be planned with the cube sideboard family, which appears as a room divider, integrates media and organises favourite pieces. Studimo, the young shelving classic, also proves its versatility as a floor-to-ceiling room divider or combined with fine closed fronts. And because living and sleeping comfort are inextricably linked, visitors to the studio can test their favourite bed right on the spot: the particularly large, cosy jalis model or the new bed system izzy. As you make your bed, so you must lie. "Men and women are in complete agreement on this," comments Steffi Raum.
