25 years of commitment: Stefan Kappel-Sudbrock celebrates silver anniversary at COR

When Stefan Kappel-Sudbrock first joined premium seating furniture brand COR in Rheda-Wiedenbrück 25 years ago, the company wasn’t entirely unfamiliar to him. He’d already got to know the Lübke family during his apprenticeship at interlübke. After ten years working at Nielsen Design, he moved to COR as export manager on 1 January 2000. In 2005 he took over from Klaus Buchta as general sales manager.

“Stefan Kappel-Sudbrock was only the third sales manager at COR. Not only has he significantly impacted the company’s development over the past 25 years, he has also played a major role in our success.” Stefan is widely recognised in the furniture trade for his reliability and level-headedness. His mind-set and style of working are driven by fairness, team spirit and benevolence, which is why he perfectly embodies the COR values!”, remarked Managing Partner Leo Lübke.

Since joining the family-owned company, Stefan Kappel-Sudbrock has made an important contribution to the development and growth of its sales operations and established himself as a key member of the management team. Under his leadership COR developed its contract furniture business and expanded the international sales organisation. Further milestones include the launch of the COR Studios, followed in 2023 by the COR Spaces, a shop-in-shop solution for retail partners.
