On board the EUROPA and EUROPA 2 Hapag-Lloyd Cruises is presenting an interior design which interprets luxury requirements as a modern, casual lifestyle. COR has contributed to this living culture at sea by outfitting 251 generously designed suites. 'Home is always best. We are happy to settle for second place.' With this gracious understatement, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises expresses its central aspiration: To make breaks at sea feel like a second home on all programme and design levels. 'Well-being can also be calculated in terms of square meters,' says Julian Pfitzner, Head of Product Management. 'Our concept addresses modern cosmopolitans with a relaxed lifestyle through maximum individuality and comfort.'

"For the new ship MS Europa2, it was a terrific opportunity to accompany the architects psd design from Hamburg with the interior concept at a very early stage. In consultation with psd, the Conseta and Quant models were adapted to the suite layouts, and other special solutions were implemented. For example, the metal parts of the furniture were protected against salty sea air and all the furniture was designed with the necessary fire protection.“
