The Italian studio Metrica (Robin Rizzini, chief designer and Lucio Quinzio Leonelli, managing partner) was founded 2009 in Milan and have earned an international reputation for the unique approach to contemporary furniture design. Design and Product Concept are marked by an Italian code and supported by Management activities dedicated to the market variables analysis and R&D on materials and processes.
Design is intended not as the gesture of designing focused exclusively on a formal-aesthetic level but as a discipline capable of creating identity and value. Metrica design projects have been awarded with international awards such as the Interior Innovation Award – Best of Best 2012, Azure Awards 2013, Henry Van De Velde 2013, Interior Innovation Award – Best of Best 2014, German Design Award Special Mention 2014, XXIII Premio Compasso d’Oro 2014 ADI.
