Vintage COR furniture makes an individual, sustainable and stylish statement

Pre-loved furniture is becoming increasingly popular. Not only is it a sustainable alternative to purchasing a new item of furniture, it’s often also easier on the wallet. COR is hosting a special sale of refurbished furniture in its CORever programme on 14 and 15 March. It’s worth stopping by.

Rheda-Wiedenbrück, 7 February 2025. After being lovingly refurbished and repaired, COR furniture that has been returned by its former owners is able to embark on a new life and remain in use. The refurbished items include design classics such as the Conseta sofa as well as retro highlights from the 1980s and 1990s.

Since 2023, when the CORever second-life programme was established, customers have been able to return disused COR furniture free of charge via COR’s retail partners. The family-run company based in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, Germany then refurbishes the furniture and resells it. As a result, COR furniture that would otherwise have ended up in a landfill is returned to the product cycle.

The second-life system generates awareness for the sustainable use of furniture and appeals to a new, younger target group by offering them access to affordable high-quality pieces. Reflecting the principles of the family-owned company, COR makes a statement about sustainability by taking responsibility for the furniture it has manufactured, extending its useful life and conserving existing resources.
