Brick by brick. At the Lego Group’s Boston Hub, the simple concept of Lego bricks shapes the design of the 157,000 m² workspace spread over six floors. The new office spaces have a playful yet sophisticated feel, whilst reflecting the company’s identity in a fresh and subtle way. The concept includes a barista bar, more than 90 informal and formal meeting areas, as well as unique spaces such as a showroom for new products and a creative play lab, where the innovation team develops ideas for new Lego sets. Staff can use round rooms, partitioned off by curtains, for focused work or informal meetings, or make themselves comfortable in cosy nooks under the stairs.
