COR is carbon neutral

Thinking and acting sustainably has been an integral part of our corporate DNA since the day the company was founded. We focus on the durability and quality of our products and the associated conservation of resources. We have done a great deal over the years to achieve this, and we are delighted that COR was able to completely neutralise its emissions for 2020.

Pollutant emissions that COR cannot avoid or avoid only with great difficulty are offset by the purchase of carbon credits. These support the Verified Carbon Standard Forest Preservation Project in Brazil. In addition, we support a regional project to stabilise our forests and promote near-natural forest communities. COR is participating in the Bergwaldprojekt e.V, which will plant 380 native trees (beech wildlings) in Hardegsen in the Solling region in autumn 2021.
