Nenou

Nenou

Leaf by leaf, a landscape of its own. Nenúfar is Spanish for “water lily”, the natural inspiration behind the Nenou furniture concept. And just as water lilies gather across the surface of a pond, its leaf-shaped upholstered elements can be arranged into ever-changing topographies within an open space. The armchairs, stools and poufs, developed jointly by designer Jörg Boner and COR, echo the shape of leaves down to the details, with distinctive perimeter flanges and central recesses that comfortably accommodate both their occupants and the beautifully shaped trays in wood and stone.

Versatile and a well-rounded concept. As a freestanding easy chair or a stylish complement to the sofa.

As in nature, various smaller groups, islands or room-spanning colonies can be built using individual elements

Filigree processing with close attention to detail. The finely contrasting edging lend even the contours a three-dimensional effect.

Radical aesthetics, pleasant to the touch.

The aesthetic design detail, an indentation in the centre of the upholstery is attractive and functional. The slight recess of the seat surfaces contributes to a comfortable sitting position.
